I recently decided to try out some competitive Overwatch once more, this time trying my hand out on playing as a Reinhardt main. I’m having a great time protecting my teammates and smacking people with my hammer, but the best part is actually just how many people I have met and become friends with on this mode, and that’s due to the emphasis on communication.
Simply put if you don’t communicate on competitive modes then your team will lose. Talking with your fellow heroes is so important and you would be a fool to simply ignore it. You can plan attack strategies, provide callouts on enemies and co-ordinate ultimates together to create deadly combos. I still will keep my communication low on quick play but now if I ever feel like trying out a proper game of Overwatch, I’ll be bringing my mic to the competitive tab.
