As the Steam Summer Sale rolls on there are many games that are getting cheaper and cheaper, I’m actually looking out for two games in particular that I want to get cheaper but in the mean time I actually picked up this game, Hero Siege, for only 50p!
Now I haven’t played it yet so I don’t know if the game will be any good or not yet however the point of me buying this game was that it was so cheap that even if it was bad I wouldn’t lose out on much. This mentality actually made me buy a fairly well known game, ORION: Prelude which was a first person shooter dinosaur fighting game. I think it was around this same price so I felt as though I wouldn’t lose out on much if the game was bad. I actually ended up enjoying my experience, it was well worth the money I payed for it.
Thus I ask you all the same type of question. If a game is dirt cheap and it looks even mildly interesting will you buy it just because of the price? And if the game turns out to be bad will you be upset about this? I’d love to hear what you all think of this mentality. That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a life.
