Bravery

Run man, run!
Run man, run!

So not even a day after I post about FNAF World, the creator of the game Scott Cawthon has removed it from Steam. Scott believed he rushed the game and that in the state it was in it wasn’t the game he wanted it to be. He also saw many of the loud negative reviews and felt disheartened by this. he is going to update the game more and release it back online for free and is even giving anyone who bought the game a refund… wow…

First off, it takes great bravery to admit that things could be better in a product you make. However not only to do that but to release your product absolutely free to apologise to the community is something unheard of in the developer world. Scott has shown he isn’t in this game for the money, he is in this to make good games and that is a trait I sorely miss in the modern games industry of today. Even though I thoroughly enjoy FNAF World I can understand why Scott made his decision and to that I say thank you for being a good game developer and proving to the many haters of your franchise that you aren’t just doing it for the money.

So what do you all think about this move? Good, bad or just something not worth caring about? Whatever you think be sure to share it! That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
