I recently came across an interesting looking indie game that has me absolutely hooked at the premise alone, a home safety telephone operator in a world where monsters are real!
The game is called ‘Home Safety Hotline’ and is exactly as the premise I outline above is described. It has a 90’s low-tech style as if you were working in an actual call center and is so genuine and filled with a clear love and passion for the era it is an absolute blast to play, even if it is rather short. It reminds me a bit of Hypnospace Outlaw actually, probably partially why I love it so much!
