The announcement that Scott Pilgrim vs The World: The Game would be returning from it’s corporate locked grave of licensing issues was a welcome treat for many fans of the series as the reason it was even removed from XBLA was silly and took away a really good beat ’em up title. Now it’s official when the game will be released back into the public, January 14th, mark your calendars Scott Pilgrim fans!
The game will be coming to both the Epic Game Store as well as the Ubisoft store (though I’ll be honest, I didn’t even know Ubisoft had their own digital distribution platform) and will be coming with the base game, the extra add-on content for additional characters and will feature fully playable online and local co-op multiplayer. It’s nice to see a cult classic come back to life and while I don’t think there has been any confirmation of the game coming to Stea, eventually I’m sure fans will be happy to suck it up and just get it on the EGS regardless. Let’s hope the don’t mess up this port!
That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
