It seems that the recent new of Metro: Exodus, the highly anticipated first-person apocalyptic shooter being made into an Epic Games Store exclusive is not going down well at all for the PC community. Players have decided to review bomb the older games on Steam to let the developers know that despite being able to pre-purchase the game before on Steam it will no longer be able to be bought there.
This is an especially strange move for the developers as the release date is not far off so suddenly announcing that you had to get it on the Epic Games Store seems very consumer unfriendly. This is especially true when you take into consideration that due to the priacy and security policy for the store Epic is able to use your information with third party companies which is a big no-no nowadays. I personally won’t be affected much as I wasn’t planning on buying the game regardless but it does make me sad to see people getting so angry over this. I just hope that eventually Deep Silver will gain there senses back and allow it to be purchased on Steam eventually.
That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
