While looking online for games to check out I came across a fascinating title I’ve never heard of before. I’m pretty sure most of you are aware of Igar.io, a browser based multiplayer game in which you play as a circle and your objective is to absorb other players in the map to win. Well alongside other releases from this such as Slither.io, a snake-like game I came across Krunker.io which seems to be the browser-based Counter Strike experience we all wanted during school.
The premise is extremely simple, join a game by following the link, click on the screen and away you go. It plays very similarly to Counter Strike but with classes instead of changing guns. The game looks simple but plays very smoothly, it sounds nice, the controls work well and it even has mod support and an in-built map creator. I’ve no idea why I haven’t come across this before but I am sure as hell playing this when I get some spare time at work. While it isn’t exactly complex or anything the game is an amazing time-waster when you don’t have access to other gaming devices. Be sure to check it out, it is free after all!
