I always enjoy looking out for cool new games, even if it is designed to be similar to previously released games. It’s nice then that I came across Outpath and while I have not played it yet just judging from the trailer I can tell it looks to be a calm and relaxing experience.
The game works a bit like Minecraft crossed with an idle game where you run around a 3D Voxel environment and do the standard survival stuff of crafting, foraging and expanding. The twist here is that the game actively encourages you to automate things and as such has a slew of tools and equipment to essentially let the game play itself while you sit back and relax to the soothing soundtrack.
The game is set to fully release next year but it already has a very playable free demo available on it’s Steam store so if you’re interested in trying something like this out then give it a look right here. That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
