I’ve heard about Eastward for a while and always wanted to check it out but never really had the opportunity to do so. Luckily the game recently came out on the Xbox Game Pass so I don’t need to even think about buying it anymore as I can try it now!
The game itself won’t get a full review but from the small amount I have played thus far I can tell you that this game seems great. It’s a mix of Zelda and Mother 3 with a good dash of post-apocalypse that reminds me a tad of Lisa: The Painful which is a fantastic mix that immediately grabbed my interest. I’m interested to see how this game will develop and I can certainly recommend, even for just the visual spectacle alone, that if you have the Xbox Game Pass to check this out!
