It’s always nice to see indie games that evoke a sense of wonder and adventure in your spirit and this offering from German developers Headup Games is sure to help bring those feelings to life. Slated for release into Early Access on December 3rd this is Tinkertown which looks a bit like an isometric Terraria and features very pretty 2D Pixel art and a procedurally generated world for you to explore.
It all seems a bit familiar to the indie scene but the main differences here are the fact that it also totes itself as an RPG meaning you can actively gear yourself up to be one of several classes or even just make up your own one. Alongside this of course there is your typical building and crafting mechanics and the game also supports up to 3 players in co-op so you can adventure or build together with your friends! The game will come with a variety of content on Early Access but promises to add more over time so I suppose we shall see if it becomes the next in the line of big indie titles that involve crafting and fighting skeletons! At the very least it’s a charming looking game that I am looking forward to seeing if it becomes a hit.
