During the Playstation showcase event last week a big remake was announced that while remaining a timed Playstation exclusive (although no release date has yet been given) initially it would eventually also be coming to other consoles and PC, Knight of the Old Republic!
This game is considered by many to be one of the best Star Wars games ever made and was one of the biggest successes that Bioware has ever created. Interestingly it seems as though Bioware aren’t actually involved in this remake but instead it would be handled by development studio Aspyr which have a long history of working with other Star Wars games.
Rumours state that many believe this game will be a combination between the first and second KOTOR which will be a huge boon as I actually have a friend who considers the second game to be his favourite of all time, so nice to see he will be pleased. Regardless expectations are very high and we can only hope that such a legendary set of games will be done justice in a full remake.
