As with seemingly everything nowadays Nintendo has announced that the Switch 2, their currently supported console, will be getting a price hike due to the increase in computer part costs from the increase requirement for AI systems. The price increase will be approximately equivalent to $50, dependent on your location in the world, which brings a huge increase to an already rather expensive console for current users which is a damn shame. I already haven’t bought a Switch 2 because I just can’t afford one currently and this just puts me off even further. All because of bloody AI trends and the current hype around putting these systems into absolutely everything which is sure to come crashing down at some point. So for now, we just have to suffer with increased prices. Thanks tech bros…
