Gabe Newell recently did an impromptu interview visit to the Sancta Maria College in Auckland, New Zealand, and during this interview answered many questions from the students who were very keen to fidn out more about upcoming projects that Valve were working on. Not only did we find out a hint about a new Steam Console and anti-cheat measures for Counter Strike: Global Offensive but Gabe said the sacred words that all multiplayer shooter lovers wanted to hear, Valve are working on a new Team Fortress 2 update.
Now before you get too excited it must be clarified that this is not confirmation that any major content is coming to the game. It could very well just be a performance patch or something to deal with the bot infestation that the game is currently dealing with as saying that an ‘update’ is coming to the game could mean a wide variety of things. Still it’s nice to have some hope so I would say try to stay optimistic about this new but be prepared for it not to be exactly what you are looking for.
That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
