Well this was certainly unexpected. To those of you who enjoy classic RPG titles then there recently was a Kickstarter project for a remaster of one of the most beloved cult-classic RPG’s. Geneforge.
Now this series actually has five games in total but the developers are focusing right now on just the original and then afterwards are thinking about the rest of the games. The games in question are isometric RPG’s similar to the original Fallout games and are set in a very interesting setting in which both magic and science co-exist and humans are able to create creatures to do their bidding. The game sounds very interesting and while it is praised for having an amazing story and setting the gameplay is obviously quite outdated but a remaster could bring the game into a more playable state and actually bring new fans to the series. I’ll be sure to check this out when it happens as they already reached their initial Kickstarter goal so the game is definitely being made.
