Tango Gameworks has Been Acquired

Talk about a fistbump for justice!

If you don’t remember, not long ago developer Tango Gameworks, responsible for hugely praised titles such as Hi-Fi Rush and The Evil Within, was unceremoniously and cruelly downsized and let go by their publisher Microsoft, despite them doing well as a studio.

Well it seems as though perhaps there’s still a chance this studio will make more titles as they just recently announced that a new publisher, Krafton, has acquired them and will be working with Microsoft and Xbox to get their games published on their systems again. This includes their older titles and whatever new games they may make in the future, which is great news! It was always sad to hear that despite making good games that this studio was still insultingly cast away, and this hopefully means they can continue to do the thing they do best, make good games.

Now Krafton isn’t exactly perfectly well known for good intentions themselves, they published PUBG which should tell you enough, but this will hopefully allow Tango Gameworks to get up on their feet and get back to making games again at the very least. Ensure that good developers can make good games, it’s not rocket science. That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
