Steam are trying something a little different this year and have kicked off the Steam Game Festival: Summer Edition which features a massive list of developers all being interviewed, showing off their pitches and most importantly for us tonnes of game demos available for the week long event.
If you go to Steam now you will see the dediated page which hosts a huge amount of demos, pitches and other important pieces of communication from indie developers to the general public. I love this concept as it helps give struggling devs a voice on a massive platform while also returning us to the fun times of playing game demos, remember the last time you did that? I barely can.
The event will run until the 22nd of June so be sure to hop on now while you have time. I for one am going to be checking out a bunch of indie games and the demo to the Destroy All Humans! remaster, I can’t wait! That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
