Despite all that has happened this year it seems Steam will continue to provide the events that they usually do and this time it seems as though they are continuing the trend of trying to help indie devs in the best way that they can with another Game Festival.
Unlike the Steam sales that usually happen these game festivals are dedicated to help celebrate the developers and give many of them the chance to show off their product via free demos or interviews and livestreams instead. As such there is a variety of games you can try out for free and Steam is hosting new streams every single day which shows off a huge amount of titles as well as talking directly to the developers to get valuable insight. While unfortunately I’m quite swamped at the moment and as such won’t be able to try out a lot of games I’m just happy that Valve are continuing to do this as it will really help a lot of developers get their product seen by the public. So if you’re interested in this at all then check it out on Steam, who knows, you might just find your new favourite game.
That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
