I’ve been in a bit of an Elder Scrolls mood recently so it’s nice to see suddenly come up on my timeline that the long awaited Skyblivion project finally has a release date, it’s 2025 but it’s at least something!
Skyblivion is a full recreation of Oblivion in Skyrim’s engine complete with all the gameplay improvements and graphical upgrades that would entail. The above trailer shows off how the game will look and I must say it looks absolutely gorgeous. The 2025 release date is actually the latest it will come out as with more volunteers to the project it could even come out earlier, true community spirit! So if you have any talents in anything to do with game development and want to lend a hand then be sure to contact the Skyblivion team and see what you can do, I for one will be very excited for when this comes out.
