If you’ve been involved in the world of Emulation in the past 10 years or so then you no doubt know about the Dolphin Emulator, it’s the premier emulator for Gamecube and Wii games and they have announced they are finally making a Steam release soon in Q2 of this year!
While it’s always been simple to install and use Dolphin having it on Steam brings a certain extra air of legitimacy to the programme rather than the pirating software most people associate it with. Now of course that’s not to say it won’t be used for pirating, but let’s be honest who even cares if you pirate gamecube and wii games anymore. I for one will be having this installed in my library as soon as it releases, maybe this will finally give me a reason to try out Wind Waker…
