Project Rene

Recently EA held a livestream dedicated to news about The Sims and all the things that would be coming to the games. With this one of the biggest announcements was the introduction of something called ‘Project Rene’ which many have interpreted to mean the next Sims game.

Now at the moment we don’t really know anything about the project aside from this name and that it is indeed the next entry in The Sims franchise but it really could be anything. It could simply be another entry in the single player franchise, it could be a multiplayer focused title or it could even be a pseudo-mmo as some have rumoured to be the case. Whatever it ends up being however it could be a big game and EA have stated they are several years away from a release so I guess we will just have to wait and see what this ends up being.
