I do love me a good de-make, and it would seem that programmer ‘James Lambert’ agrees as they have been working on a project for the past few years that would make many a Valve fan swoon, a complete de-make of Portal playable of the Nintendo 64.
The project is still ongoing but is almost feature complete with the game’s systems, portal gun, voiceovers and maps all ported to the old console and as such is close to being fully playable finish to end. The fact that this also is not just a de-make, but an actually playable N64 game, even on an official console, is bonkers to say the least. I am incredibly proud of James for doing a project such as this and I encourage all of you to keep an eye out for when this project is finished. Now which company would like to pinch him… Nintendo or Valve…
