Play Like an Egyptian!

Scarab fights!

A new Total War game has been revealed, this time being Total War: Pharaoh. This is another historical entry in the series and is set during the Bronze-Age collapse as Egypt is on it’s last legs ans fighting for survival against it’s bordering enemies. This will let you play as, of course, Ancient Egypt as well as the Hittite and Canaanite civilisations which will lead to a very interesting diversity in warfare, especially for something set this early on.

In terms of new things while not too much has been revealed we know that the campaigns will be more customisable than usual and that the game will now feature dynamic weather systems that can change in the middle of combat to provide changes in how units fight and what debuffs they may experience. Regardless it’s all very interesting and I’m sure historical Total War fans are happy to finally get another focus this time instead of fantasy. Now let’s see if the Pharaoh’s keep their historical accuracy and challenge the enemy armies to children’s card games!

That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
