Activision Blizzard have finally announced that they will be showing off some gameplay over the PvP mode from Overwatch 2 on May 20th in a developer update video hosted by Aaron Keller.
This showcase will apparentl feature over 20 minutes of full Overwatch PvP action and will help to showcase exactly what the differences between the original and the sequel will be but also states to adjust expectations accordingly as this is very much still in development and nowhere near finished.
I am interested to see the reaction this new game will have as from my mind it seems as though Overwatch has had a dying playerbase due to the lack of updates or anything interesting at all happening and perhaps the sequel might be just too late to capitalise on ther success of the original. Still I am more than happy to be proven wrong so I guess we will see if this new multiplayer will wow me back into playing or if it will just be another mediocre update to a tired game format, only time will tell I suppose.
