We got a bit of a surprise announcement of a new Nintendo Direct yesterday but it’s only really a small showcase of some of the work that third party developers are doing for the Switch, due to this there wasn’t really anything huge to announce but I’ll still let you all know what was shown.
First we got information that new DLC was coming to Cadence of Hyrule in the form of a new character pack, a music pack and a new dungeon featuring Skull Kid and his mask shenanigans. Nice to see this game is still being supported. Next up we got news that a battle royale game, Rogue Company, was getting a Switch port which is… nice I suppose?
We also got news that a new WWE game is coming to the switch, WWE 2K Battlegrounds, which looks a bit like a more arcade-y and silly wrestling game which fits the Switch audience better I suppose. Finally Atlus Games revealed that they were releasing a remaster of Shin Megami Tensei 3 Nocturne and that SMT 5 would also be coming out on the Switch which is sure to make fans of that series extremely happy, though I still would have preferred a Persona 5 port.
So that’s all for this tiny direct, nothing of too much interest but hopefully the bigger announcements will come at a later direct, we can only hope for now. That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
