Master Duel

I summon the 10,000 Dragon!

As a Yu-Gi-Oh fan I have been waiting for this announcement for a very long time however I’m happy to finally say that we now have an official online simulator for the card game, Master Duel.

The game came out on both Steam and Consoles last week but due to the many other news stories coming out at the same time I thought I would wait before telling you all about it here. It’s free to play and is both the main new online format that Konami will be focusing on and it even has lots of single-player content to play through too. Alongside that with the free resources at the start of the game as long as you know what you are doing you can make a fairly competitive deck right from the start without having to spend anything, so that’s nice!

Something people are pointing out however is not only does the game feel a bit unfinished due to a lack of several features that they stated would be in the game at launch but also it seems as though once you get through your initial burst of free gem resources the rest will be very scarce and as such you will really struggle to make more than one competitive deck at the moment. It’s a shame but I’ve been having a lot of fun with it so I’m willing to wait and see how the game develops over time before making any snap judgements. Although considering this is Konami we are talking about I wouldn’t hold my breath…

That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
