After just getting into the VR scene it’s almost painful to announce that HTC have unveiled a brand new headset at their conference, the HTC Vive Cosmos. This is supposedly for the use of the general consumer with a focus on accessibility and ease of setup.
What is most interesting about this new device is that not only are there no more external sensors that you need to install but also it can supposedly be used with both a PC and a mobile device. What this means for the device’s focus right now is rather unclear as we don’t even know if it will be a standalone unit.
What is clear however is that HTC were rather tight-lipped about this device so be certain to see new information about it in the future. I just hope the specs aren’t that much better than my current headset, I don’t want to buy anything else. That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
