Blackout Dumb

The most horrifying fate for poor Ripley, a mobile spin-off

It seems as though Sega are following in the footsteps of Blizzard by jumping headfirst into the mobile market with a game in a beloved franchise that they hyped up, and that’s not a good thing.

Alien: Blackout is a mobile prequel/sequel/spin-off thing that was revealed after speculation arose due to several trademarks being taken out on the Alien franchise. Apparently you will be controlling a person inside a control room who must use the cameras to help guide Ripley Jr around the ship to stay away from the Alien threat. To me this just sounds like a mobile cash-in that uses the gameplay of Five Nights at Freddy’s of all thing so I most certainly won’t be going anywhere near this. Still at least they didn’t purposely hype it up, unlike a certain other company.

Regardless I will save my judgement until the game is actually released. Maybe it will actually be good… oh who am I kidding. That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
