Warframe’s latest update, Iceblade of Narin, is out tomorrow and even before it has actually come out people are having big opinions about it. It brings us a new cold themed Warframe, Narin, who is more about offense and ice skating rather than Frost’s defence and lockdown playstyle. It also comes with a rework to Banshee and of course plenty of new weapons, augments and quality of life improvements.
The big thing that people are wondering about however is the new game mode, Glacial Defence, which is a raid-type game mode in all but name. The big issue people are experiencing is that it will be forced co-op for 6 players with no matchmaking, so teamwork and communication is mandatory. Personally, for me, I don’t know if I will end up playing it as I like to treat Warframe like a solo game, and the forced co-op generally isn’t what I vibe with. Still, might be worth a shot at least, and I am interested to see what the wider community thinks of it post-implementation. Will this be the most controversial update in a while? We shall have to wait and see.
