As things have been a bit quiet on the Total War: Warhammer front lately I was glad to hear that a new, smaller DLC would be coming out for the game on the 21st this week, the Tigermen of Cathay! These are part of the new structure of smaller DLC packs known as ‘Lord Packs’ which are planned to be used as a way to give smaller, less well know characters a chance to be in the game and not have to wait for a big DLC like the upcoming Lords of the End Times.
The Tigermen in question will be led by Bhashiva, a white tiger and master assassin who works for the Chinese inspired Cathay to hunt down their enemies. It’s a cool design, and gives Cathay that extra Fantasy element that reminds people they are in a fantasy setting. Whilst they may not interest me too much, I’m more of an Ogre guy, this is still cool to see and hopefully this means many new characters will end up in the game over time as these Lord Packs are rolled out. Let’s just see if CA sticks to this idea in the long run.
