The next Warframe update was finally detailed this past weekend and it’s actually coming much sooner than we expected! ‘Koumei and the Five Fates’, the name of this new update, is releasing October 2nd, so it will be fully out tomorrow and we also already know all the details about the improvements in this new update.
Firstly of course is the brand new Warframe, Koumei, who is a rng-based warframe that uses dice rolls to determine the power of her string and marionette based abilities. It’s a geniunely cool concept and while she may not be the most reliable or powerful Warframe I can still imagine her being a really fun choice to try out for variety. She also of course comes with a new quest that will take place on Earth, fun times!
The update will also come with several reworks to existing Warframes, the biggest one being Caliban turning him into a more summon-focused frame. It will have new weapons, a reworked pet system, new mods, improved new-player experience and a host of additional quality of life and bug fixes that are sure to make players lives easier. Honestly this has been an excellent series of improvements to the game, and with it being revealed so close to the release date you can bet I will be hopping on to see how lady luck treats me.
