Something I have shamefully forgotten to mention in previous years in relation to the prestigious GDQ and SGDQ is it’s sister spin-off show, Frame Fatales and Flame Fatales; the all-singing, all-dancing females of all kind only speedrunning event. This year the Flame Fatales event will be running from August 13th – 19th and will feature a large variety of unique speedruns that you may not normally see on the original stage.
This includes rom-hacked versions of Yugioh: Forbidden Memories, a reverse playthrough of Pokemon Blue, an entire Sonic Mania playthrough centred around a hang glider and even some of the biggest speedrunning games such as Breath of the Wild and Super Mario Odyssey.
