Total War: Warhammer 3 has finally revealed it’s long awaited next piece of DLC; Shadows of Change. This will see 3 new lords added to the factions of Tzeentch, Kislev and Cathay alongside brand new units for each group. For Tzeentch we are getting The Changeling, a mysterious demon that can shapeshift into anyone in the world. For Kislev it’s Mother Ostankya which is Warhammer’s version of the famous Polish folklore creature Baba Yaga. Finally Cathay will receive Yuan Bo, the Jade Dragon, who is a master of magic, spymaster and administrator for Cathay. Overall, a big list with lots of big names!
However, that isn’t the main news. The main thing that the community is discussing in relation to this DLC is the fact that it is being charged for at an extortionate $25 which while previously was the same price as the Chaos Dwarfs DLC this time it seen as excessive due to the fact that this content pack comes with far less that the Chorfs. As such many are choosing to outright ignore this one out of principle which is a damn shame as the content does indeed look pretty cool, but I would agree that Creative Assembly are taking the piss charging that much. Maybe they will change course before the release date of August 31st… I have my doubts though…
