Well if you didn’t know about this announcement then you have not been paying much attention to the internet over the weekend. EA and Respawn Entertainment announced fully by showing their official reveal trailer a brand new Star Wars game, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.
The game is set after the events of the prequels and follows a young Padawan who escaped the massive jedi purge that took place near the end of that series and is currently in hiding. Through events that happen in the story eventually his cover is blown and he must do his best to escape the empire and their death squads. The premise is certainly interesting but the most exciting part of this game is the fact that it’s a single-player only experience with no microtransactions which is a welcome return to form.
We can only hope that EA don’t mess this up somehow but I have good faith in Respawn as they have had a good track record so far with their Titanfall series and Apex Legends so we shall see if this game follows suite. That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
