In a shocking turn of events it seems as though E3 is entirely cancelled for this year, not just physically but online too. We already knew that there would not be a physical event due to the problems regarding social distancing and restrictions still in effect within several places but this confirms that the online replacement isn’t going ahead either meaning that E3 is officially dead for 2022.
It’s an interesting development and the organisers have stated that they plan to have a “Reinvigorated Showcase” return in 2023 where the show will get back on it’s feet however as we have seen over the previous couple of years it seems as though E3 isn’t as needed anymore. I even talked about this beforehand where I stated that E3 just isn’t as useful for the gaming public anymore so I even wonder if it will return in 2023 at all. Still it’s good to be updated on these type of things, I wonder what new information we will get from gaming company streams during this time. I’m sure they will be able to manage everything themselves.
That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
