DnD, at least the original unmodified game, doesn’t tend to change all that often unless you decide to homebrew. There are of course many fan-created variations of the game, and additions that don’t get the official seal of approval, but the actual game only tends to get one or two things over the years. Well this time a new, big thing is coming to the game, a brand new Vampire class thanks to a crossover event with Vampire: The Masquerade.
Vampires have been playable before in a way, though these were mostly half-vampires, so the fact this is a full blown vampire class is big news for the game. It lets you use blood points and fight to keep your urges in check, just like classic vampire stuff. It’s nice to see, and for all those who wanted a bit more of a gothic vibe to their games taking this class might be the exact thing you may be looking for. Now I wonder how many people will just make Astarion…
That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
