Many people have said that the original Warhammer 40K Dawn of War games are some of the best in the entire genre, with may claiming the original to be the best 40k game available. I’m not too sure about that, but for their anniversary a big surprise has just come out, both the first and second game have been given the anniversary treatment, going on a big discounted sale, getting new multiplayer functionality and coming with all the DLC combined, it even comes as a free upgrade to those who already own the games!
Now this does I believe come with the caveat that I believe the original games are no longer available on Steam, though as these seem like pretty much the same games just with the ability to actually functionally play on modern systems that may not be too bad of a thing. I never tried out the games myself, maybe this will be the kick I need to finally give them a look. I do like my Necrons after all…
