From the creator of Iron Lung and Dusk, David Szymanski, comes another great looking horror indie experience that is sure to evoke creepy feelings in your spine whilst looking like it came straight from the 90’s, Butcher’s Creek.
Like David’s other indie horror hits this title looks to emulate an older game’s style whilst making it into its own thing. This time it’s taking inspiration from the classic Xbox 360-era game Condemned which for those that don’t know was a mainly melee focused horror first person experience that acted like it was being filmed on a cam recorder and focused mainly on interior urbanm environments to make it feel claustrophobic an tense. Butcher’s Creek will see you fighting off cultists in a rural american setting, a little bit different but with the same kind of vibe.
It looks to hit all the right notes, and with David’s previous work you can absolutely expect a great experience with this one. The game doesn’t have a release date yet, but you can wishlist it on Steam right here. That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
