I don’t know much about Big Robot studios aside from the fact that they made a couple fun and interesting games beforehand that favoured generally well with critics. Now they are currently creating a brand new world, and this world certainly looks dark.
‘The Light Keeps Us Safe’ is stated by the developers as a “procedurally generated post-apocalypse” set in a world patrolled by giant killer robots where the only places you can stay safe are zones designated with special lights designed to keep them out, hence the name of the game. It’s an interesting concept for sure and with the very unique and bleak looking art style it could be a fun twist on the survival genre. It also has a huge focus on stealth so this could very well scratch that itch so many people who love stealth games have been missing.
