The rogue-like genre has had some great stand-out games that have come out in the recent years but a new one that was just shown off on Kickstarter caught my attention as it brings an interesting new spin into these games.
Known as ‘Mirador’ this sees you play as your standard ARPG classes fighting through dungeons and defeating bosses however the catch is that each of the bosses you face at the end of dungeons will actually be custom-made by different players. As you get loot for your character you also unlock new customisation pieces and AI behaviours for you to build a boss of your own design and then have it randomly take on other players with each victory it netting getting you new items.
It seems like an interesting take on a typical ARPG and Dungeon Keeper and the premise alone has me very excited. I just hope it reaches its funding goals and I wish the developers the best of luck! That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
