News of the idea that there would be a new Bioshock game released has been circling around for a while without any concrete evidence however it would seem after the discovery of a job listing for a new Senior Writer position we finally have direct confirmation and we even have some idea as to what it might be.
The position in question will focus on “hoping to find someone who can weave impactful, character-driven stories in an open world setting” which confirms that the game will indeed be fully open world and interestingly they also mention being able to create great stories for both the main quest and side quests, implying these will also be in the game which is a massive change for the series. Overall we don’t know much else aside from that but if this project ends up being close to what is described in this job position then this could be a radically different Bioshock game than usual, only time will tell I suppose.
