Average Nights in Russia

Vodka and Chocolate please

I recently played a demo for one of the most fascinating game experiences I have enjoyed in a long time, so much so that it will be an instant buy for me when the game fully comes out.

It’s called ‘I Have No Change’ and it’s essentially at its core a simulator game in which you work a night kiosk in Russia giving people items they ask for and keeping the kiosk running smoothly. It’s a simple concept at heart, but similar to games like Papers Please it gains massive amounts of hidden depth through its interactions with customers, personalisation of the main character and the ability to just experience and live in a less fortunate area of Russia. This game has one of the best atmospheres I have experienced in a long time, and is an excellent example of a Liminal Game doesn’t just try to make itself that way for a trend. I loved my time with it, and I highly encourage you all to give it a try too as the Playtest is still currently live on the game’s Steam page right here.

That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
