Amnesia: The Bunker Delay

Gun time!

Apologies for no post last Friday. Personal reasons meant I was unable to, back to regular posts now.

Frictional Games were set to unveil and release the next game in the Amnesia series known as ‘Amnesia: The Bunker’ in March this year however they have stated that after a “tough winter” they will be delaying the game until May to ensure it is up to a good level of polish.

This installment is set to be very different to the rest of the series as not only will it have semi-open world aspects to it’s new environments but it will also allow you to actually hold a firearm meaning this will be the first Amnesia game in which you can actually fight back against the monsters you are hiding from. At the moment not much else is known but it’s nice to see Frictional Games willing to shake things up to see if they can recapture the magical terror that the original game brought. I’ll be interested to see if this change in tone and pacing works, and I am also all in support for delays to ensure the game is the best it can be. Better to be delayed and good than early and crap.

That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
