Have any of you played the lovely and aggressively silly West of Loathing? It’s a browser based RPG set in the wild west with stick figure characters as the main art style and is a lovely time if you’re in for some not serious RPG action. Well it seems that following on from the successful fantasy version, Kingdom of Loathing the creator of these games, Zack Johnson, during a game jam has created a Rogue-like version known as “Kingdom of Rogueing”.
The game of course is a rogue-like take on the silly RPG games and as such has all the ridiculous scenarios you might imagine you would encounter from such a game like battling a vampire-faced bat or a possessed can of asparagus. The game is currently on itch.io and is being sold at a choose your own price model which for something like this is the best way to do it in my opinion. Regardless if you’re looking to kill some time and see some fun and not at all serious scenarios then this might be a good thing to check out.
That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
