Big news for horror fans, there is a possibility that a new Silent Hill game is on the way. According to several outlets the South Korean ratings board briefly had a rating on their website for a mysterious game known as ” Silent Hill: The Short Message” before it was quickly taken down after being noticed. This name hasn’t appeared on the internet before this point so it’s very likely that this is a new game that is set to come out at some point soon which will be huge for fans in the series.
Something interesting to note however is that there is no reference as to which platform this game will be coming out on. Considering the questionable direction that Konami has been going lately it might even be a terrible mobile game, but nobody seems to know at the moment. I would suggest fans remain cautious with this possible news as considering how Metal Gear has been handled recently I don’t have a huge amount of optimism surrounding this. Happy to be proven wrong though!
