With the many games at E3 no longer getting the opportunity to be revealed this year many companies are instead trying the novel approach of… simply telling people what games they are making, crazy I know. EA recently when questioned about what games they had planned for the rest of the year stated that they had a few titles in development, including an HD remaster for next year but didn’t specify more.
Well, according to rumours around the gaming journalism space there is a good chance that this mysterious remaster is actually a full HD do-over of the original Mass Effect trilogy. The speculation comes from some credible sources and so I’m inclined to believe that this is indeed the case and if so I am extremely excited for this. I have played through the trilogy many times but I never actually got it on PC despite it being my main platform now but with this news this may very well be the excuse I need to step into the boots of Commander Shepard once more with a much prettier series of games. Let’s just hope that if this is indeed true that they do some touch ups of the first game in the series as it really needs it.
