A Delayed Stalk

It seems as though GSC Game World can’t seem to catch a break as their most recent announcement has been that the much anticipated S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 will now be delayed until December of this year. The company has stated that the reason for the delay is that the studio wants more time to “Fulfill our vision” which sounds an awful lot like the kind of excuses that CD Projekt Red made when delaying Cyberpunk 2077… hmm…

Regardless it will be a blow to players who were looking forward to playing this much anticipated title soon and there is some speculation that this is also due to the huge backlash surrounding the idea that they would be implimenting NFT systems into the game. This was of course immediately revoked once they saw how upset people were at the concept so perhaps they are waiting for things to start cooling down before they release the game to the public and at the same time give them some much needed development time. I suppose we shall just have to wait and see if the game is good or not on release, let’s just hope it isn’t another Cyberpunk.
