I’ve recently discovered a love for poison builds in games. You know the ones, those that focus on plagues, damage over time, and spreading disease. I think my love from this has come from playing Nurgle in Total War: Warhammer as I found that his playstyle just really appealed to me.
That being said I am very aware of the general dislike for characters that focus entirely upon this aspect, either ending up horribly overpowered or just cheap to fight against. Still, I find it fun, and combined with a tanky playstyle I can focus on whittling my opponent down over time rather than hyper-focused damage.
What I’m interested in however is if there is any game you’ve played where a poison/plague build was very enjoyable for you? If so please let me know as I would love to find out what people think about these types of characters. That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
