As I mentioned yesterday I decided to try out Lisa the Pointless, another fan-game for the Lisa series, however this time the results were quite different.
I haven’t finished the game and yet I have no real desire to continue playing. You see this entry seems to focus hard upon realism and the difficulty aspects which makes playing it almost impossible without a guide. I was able to beat the first boss after a lot of random luck and wasting all my resources and yet afterwards when I got into my next battle I couldn’t bring myself to keep playing as I just relied on RNG to win.
The premise of the characters were certainly interesting at least. You control a martial artist living on garbage island who wants to find a better life for himself but his partner in adventure, Joel, is fun due to the fact that he relies upon intimidating the enemy with his unique revolver that only has a single bullet. As a result he can’t fire it but he can put it in the gun to intimidate people. do gun tricks to confuse them and other such abilities. The premise is cool but the difficulty and lack of ability to make it easier for yourself means I sadly won’t get to see this game to the end. A shame too but ahh well, they can’t all be winners.
That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
