As I mentioned in a previous post recently I have purchased a brand new HTC Vive which is a shared Christmas present between myself and my girlfriend. I just received the package in the mail and am so excited to take it out and try it however there is a small catch. Due to this being a Christmas present we only bought it now so that we would have it in plenty of time and wouldn’t risk it running out of stock which means now it must mock us by sitting on the dinner table and not be opened until near the end of the month.
I’m sure many of you also experienced this horrible feeling when you were children when it came to the holidays. A new present or an anticipated game release you have waiting for you but it will sit there undisturbed until the time finally comes. I’m curious to know what experiences you have had with this scenario. Did you cave in and open the box early, what was it you got?
