I have a strange fascination with Liminal Spaces, those odd locations that seem otherworldly and in many interpretations actually become new worlds that you can infinitely explore to your heart’s content. It’s an almost relaxing experience that, with some fitting music in the background, becomes one of my most zen-like experiences when I need to wind down.
Convenient then that there are many games that cater to this very specific niche. Games like ‘Dreamcore’, ‘Pools’ or ‘Interior Worlds’ really help to capture the experience of exploring Liminal Spaces. You could even just download a couple of Gmod maps and explore those if you feel like keeping it simple. It’s a strange thing to describe to someone but I honestly find it such an enchanting experience.
